"Use household items as therapeutic tools"

As we are all trying to take care of our bodies while at home, we want to remind you that you don’t need to purchase a whole bunch of new exercise, stretching and massage tools to take care of yourself!



You have many items already in your home that can double as therapeutic tools.


For example : A broomstick can be used for arm and body rotation exercises; a bag of rice as a hot pack alternative or for grip strengthening exercises; a hammer as a top heavy weight to strengthen tennis elbow muscles, a can of soup as an alternate light weight - particularly good for wrist strengthening; a rolling pin as a foam roller alternative; a tennis ball as a pinpoint massage tool; a wooden spoon as a massage scraping tool alternative and a belt as a yoga strap alternate for enhancing our stretches!
